Random Noodles in Soup

When all else fail, mix and match left overs!!! Actually these aren't even left overs, they're just food I found in the fridge that I like. But I do a lot of mix and match with my mom's left overs, especially when she makes soup then I could use it as soup base and just add stuff to it. But what I have here was vermicelli noodles again in dashi soup, then I added some lettuce I bought, trying to use them up before they go bad, some fish balls, and spicy bamboo shoots which you can buy in a can at Asian supermarkets. I know, I know, this isn't much cooking, but I enjoyed what I put in my bowl! I've had some bad turn outs before, but this time was good.. I often feel safe about making noodles in soup, especially dashi soup. It's kind of like MSG, but healthier? I think? Here's a picture of the meal, I know it doesn't look too appealing, but it sure tasted good!
